Correct. The pump is permanently built into the bag itself. There's no second piece to buy, lose, or charge separately. Just place your clothes in, seal the zip, and press the button on the bag. That's it.

VacVacBag uses a built-in electric pump to remove air from inside the sealed bag. When you press the button, the pump activates and compresses your clothes in around 30 seconds. The seal holds the compression so your bag stays flat — even at altitude on a plane.

VacVacBag is a black, soft-sided compression bag with a sealed zip closure and the pump integrated into the body of the bag. It's designed to fit inside a standard 22" x 14" x 9" carry-on. Compressed, it takes up significantly less space than a regular packing cube of the same volume.

Approximately 15 items — enough for a full week away. That includes 5–7 tops, 3–4 bottoms, underwear, and a lightweight jacket. Bulkier items like hoodies or thick knitwear will reduce capacity slightly.

Yes. VacVacBag is designed to fit inside a standard 22" carry-on bag, which is the universally accepted carry-on size across major airlines including American, Delta, United, Southwest, British Airways, Ryanair, and easyJet. The bag itself doesn't count as your carry-on — it goes inside it.

Absolutely. While it's designed with carry-on travel in mind, you can use it inside a checked bag to compress and organise your clothes for longer trips too.

Via USB-C — the same connector used by most modern phones and laptops. A charging indicator light on the bag lets you know when it's charging and when it's full. Charge time is approximately 1–2 hours from empty.

A USB-C cable is not included in the box — you can use any standard USB-C cable you already own (phone charger cable, laptop cable, etc.). We didn't include one to avoid sending unnecessary cables to customers who already have several.

Approximately 15 compression cycles per full charge. For most travellers, that's several months of regular use before needing to recharge.

Your clothes will stay compressed — the seal holds the compression regardless of battery level. You just won't be able to re-compress until you recharge. Any USB-C power source works: your phone charger, a power bank, a hotel USB socket.

Yes. USB-C charging via a power bank is perfectly permitted in carry-on luggage on all major airlines.

If you're not satisfied for any reason within 60 days of receiving your order, we'll give you a full refund. No questions asked. We cover the return shipping cost and there is no restocking fee.

Email us at support@vacvacbag.com with your order number and we'll take care of everything. You don't need to explain why — we'll just process the refund.

The warranty covers manufacturing defects including pump failure, zipper malfunction, and material defects. Normal wear and tear is not covered. If you experience any issues within the first year, contact us and we'll replace your bag free of charge.

Wipe the interior and exterior with a damp cloth. Do not machine wash or submerge in water. The pump compartment should never get wet. Allow to air dry completely before storing.

The bag is water-resistant but not fully waterproof. It will protect your clothes from light rain and spills, but should not be submerged in water or exposed to heavy rain for extended periods.

Yes. VacVacBag works great for towels, bedding, pillows, and soft items. Avoid sharp objects that could puncture the bag or damage the seal. Do not compress electronics or fragile items.
