Six Steps. One Minute. One Bag.
From flat-empty to fully-compressed, the VacVacBag uses one button to make a full week's clothes disappear into 1/3 the space. Here's exactly how.
Place Your VacVacBag Inside Your Suitcase
Open the VacVacBag and carefully place your clothing inside. Make sure not to overfill—leave some space for the compression process to work effectively.
Quick tip
For best results, fold items neatly before placing them in the bag and fill out the edges.
Pack Everything You'd Normally Bring.
Add clothes, sweaters, jeans, jackets, even your laundry from the trip back. The bag holds 15+ items including bulky knitwear and outerwear.
What fits
4 sweaters + 5 t-shirts + 2 jeans + 1 jacket + underwear/socks for a week = ~15 items. For 2-week trips, use the 2-pack.
After Packing, Seal The VacVacBag
After packing the VacVacBag, make sure you have packed everything well. Check the corners for any space and make sure the built-in pump is charged before closing the VacVacBag.
Quick tip
Softly push the bag after closing to ensure no airflow.
Close The Zipper Completely. All The Way.
This is the one step that determines whether compression works. The zipper must be fully closed — the slider should slot all the way into the locking position at the end. A partial close means air leaks and the bag won't compress.
IMPORTANT
If the zipper isn't fully seated, the pump will run but nothing will compress — you'll just hear it spin. 90% of "the pump isn't working" support emails are actually this.
Press the built-in pump button.
Twist open the cap on the pump panel. Press and hold the power button for 2-4 seconds. The motor will begin pulling air out of the bag. After compressing, push button once to stop the compression-cycle and close the cap.
The pump specs
USB-C rechargeable, 15+ compression cycles per charge, 60-minute full recharge. The motor is sealed and rated for 1,500+ cycles.
Watch The Bag Compress To Half Its Size.
Run the pump for about 1 minute when the bag reaches full vacuum. You'll see the bag shrink dramatically — bulky sweaters and down items compress most, denim least.
Quick tip
Gently push against the bag during the compression to push out trapped air and maximise the compression-potential.
Use The Freed Space For Everything Else.
Now that the clothes take up a third of the space, the rest of your carry-on is available for shoes, electronics, toiletries, camera gear, passport, books, gifts — anything you'd normally have to leave at home.
Quick tip
Double the space with 2 VacVacBags
